Released in 2002 for the GameCube, PlayStation 2 and Xbox, Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is an action adventure platform game published by EA Games. Set in an Australian style world, Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is a story about Ty, a tiger on a mission to restore peace and balance to his ancestors and family. The game has a very interesting and in depth story for a platformer, but the real meat and potatoes of the game is in the gameplay. Ty is equipped with two boomerangs and he can throw them around to destroy enemies. Like any other platform from this era, Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is a collect-a-thon. The game received pretty positive reviews from critics, and so many people bought the game that there were three more sequels released.
Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is not a revolutionary game by any stretch of the imagination. However, Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is a great game to relive some of the classic memories and gameplay moments that games like Spyro The Dragon and Crash Bandicoot gave gamers. Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is a worthy addition to these console's libraries, and it is sometimes lost in all of the great platformers of this generation.

Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is a really fun game. It is relatively cheap on all consoles, and it is a worthy addition to any gamer's collection. I cannot wait to go back and play though Ty the Tasmanian Tiger.
