Virtua Quest, Released in 2005, is an action adventure game published by Sega. Virtua Quest was released on the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo GameCube. Virtua Quest follows a boy named Sei who travels through various virtual worlds in an effort to save his friend Hayami. Sei is a bit of an annoying character. When one thinks of the Virtua series, they usually think of Virtua Fighter. There are so many great characters in that universe, and players are forced to play as Sei. There are a lot of cameos from characters within the Virtua Fighter games, and the player has to fight against these various characters.
The gameplay is pretty basic. It gets very repetitive after a while, but it still has a certain charm about it. Even though this game does not have the best story, I still enjoyed it for what it was.

Virtua Quest is a game that is not talked about much. It never really did anything new for the video game world, but it didn't do anything that wrong. Personally, I would recommend this game if someone is looking for a cheap action game for the GameCube. Personally want to go back to it and relive some nostalgic days as a teenager playing Virtua Fighter on the Gamecube.
