Released in 2007 for the Nintendo DS, Custom Robo Arena is an action role-playing robot combat game. Custom Robo Arena is a game that is very overlooked and rarely talked about. Published by Nintendo, Custom Robo Arena is the fifth installment in the series and only the second Custom Robo game to make it to America. The games are a lot more popular in Japan, and the game received mixed reviews in America.

The story is pretty basic, but it has a few interesting twist and turns. The real reason this game is so good is because of the gameplay. The normal role-playing elements take place in a 16-bit setting. The player can choose his or her robo and customize it to their liking. The gameplay is all 3-D, and the battles are very fast paced.

Custom Robo Arena is one of my favorite games on the Nintendo DS. It had a lot of role-playing elements that brought me back to some of my early days playing Pokemon Blue. Custom Robo Arena is a great game for anyone interested in playing something unique and with a lot of content. I would highly recommend Custom Robo Arena.
