Released in 2003 and developed by Swinging' Ape Studios, Metal Arms: Glitch in the System is a third person shooter robot game. Metal Arms was released on all three platforms, and there was never a sequel released even though there were countless fans who asked for one. The game follows Glitch, a deactivated robot who is reactivated to stop the Milbots and restore peace to the entire world. Metal Arms also has a multiplayer mode where players can battle against each other using various weapons. This gameplay would have been perfect if it was released in a generation based more around online gameplay.
Metal Arms is a great addition to each of these consoles. I am disappointed that there was never a sequel to this game, and I hope that someone revitalizes the franchise. Sierra went out of business, so this attributed to there never being a follow up to this game.

Metal Arms is a worthy addition to any gamer's collection. I think that it is one of the best multi-platform games of the generation. Metal Arms is relatively cheap now, so it is the perfect time to jump into a game that is rarely talked about. Metal Arms deserves a lot more credit, and I hope that more people realize how important this game is in the development in a possible revitalization of the franchise.
